About The Event

Tired of empty storefronts?
Come join a group of Baltimore small business owners, non-profits, and neighbors who are tired of the city red tape and watching our storefronts get hollowed out by landlords who don't answer to anyone. Right now, a landlord can hike your rent with no warning, let a building fall apart around you, or leave a storefront sitting empty for years—and there's nothing on the books stopping them. And that's assuming you can tread through the often year-long process of getting open to begin with.
B'More Small Biz Rights Coalition is changing that. We're pushing City Council to pass a Small Business Bill of Rights to establish legal protections for small businesses, cut down on city bureaucracy and red tape, and lower the number of vacant storefronts.
Bring your questions. Bring your neighbors. Let's build a Baltimore where small businesses can thrive. RSVP here.

Can't make it? We're hosting another Town Hall in Waverly this September.
