FILM: 1-800-HOT-DUCK Video Night

This Thursday, November 16th, join us for 1-800-HOT-DUCK Video Night, an evening of video art and found media curated and hosted by the one and only 1-800-HOT-DUCK. Culled from the depths of the internet, abandoned YouTube channels, strange downloads on the darkest parts of the web, and bootleg videos reproduced within an inch of their life, expect a curated night of wildly fun, bizarre, and all-around perplexing works you won’t experience anywhere else. (Think: arty animation shorts, 1980’s homemade horror films from deranged teenagers, lost TV from around the globe, rare experimental video art from well-known artists, and other weird media assumed lost to the sands of time.)

1-800-HOT-DUCK is the alter-ego of Chrissy Marie Jones, a native Philadelphian and multidisciplinary artist working in video, illustration, and performance. In addition to her personal practice, you catch her collaborating with Everything is Terrible!
