ABOUT FOUND FOOTAGE FESTIVAL

Debuting in 2004 in New York City, the Found Footage Festival has since sold out hundreds of shows across the U.S., Canada, and the U.K., including appearances at the Just For Laughs Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, and Bonnaroo.

The show has been featured on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and NPR, and has been praised by critics in The Guardian and The New York Times.

Fans can also catch Pickett and Prueher in their weekly YouTube series VCR Party Live! and the hit Tribeca documentary Chop & Steele, now available on Blu-ray and VOD.

ABOUT YOUR HOSTS

Joe Pickett and Nick Prueher began collecting found videotapes in 1991 after discovering a McDonald’s training video titled Inside and Outside Custodial Duties in their hometown of Wisconsin. Since then, they’ve compiled one of the world’s largest collections of strange, outrageous, and profoundly stupid VHS tapes.

Pickett, a contributor for The Onion, and Prueher, a veteran of The Colbert Report and The Late Show with David Letterman, also directed the award-winning documentary Dirty Country and host the weekly show VCR Party Live!.

They are the prank masterminds behind viral characters like Kenny “K-Strass” Strasser, Chef Keith, and Chop & Steele, whose morning-show appearances have racked up millions of YouTube views. Their comedic antics even led to a federal lawsuit—dubbed by Fast Company “the dumbest First Amendment battle of the year.”
