Feeling pissed off? Full of dread? You’re not alone! Join us for a night full of Queer Angst! Hailing from New York City, artists JAE.CI and katrina sotera are bringing an ethereal set full of love, romance, and resilience. Kay L.A. is ushering in a new era of Hip Hop with thoughtfully woven lessons that have shaped her journey in Baltimore, the city that raised her. Santana Sankofa is headlining with brand new songs and her classics “We Been Here” and “Butch Baby” as she grapples with reality and practices healthier ways to cope. With artist, curator, and internet personality Angie Williams hosting and performing, this night promises to lift your spirits, lock you in with community, and get you activated with music as the cure. Tonight we’re centering all things queer through our performers, vendors, and more!

Santana Sankofa
Santana Sankofa (they/she) stands out as a Black queer Puerto Rican and Dominican artist, educator, and organizer, hailing from South Central Los Angeles. Her sound seamlessly blends R&B, Pop, Hip Hop, NeoSoul, Reggaeton, and Protest music, creating a soulfully charged musical experience. They explore themes of Black power, queer love, collective resistance, and the freedom that comes with standing in your truth. Kay L.A.
Kay L.A. is a multi-disciplinary performing artist born and raised in Baltimore City. Her music reflects her experience as an unorthodox woman navigating life in Baltimore, thoughtfully woven with the lessons, resilience, and growth that have shaped her journey. Her sound signals the beginning of a new era in Hip Hop and Soul, If you enjoy artists such as Rapsody, J. Cole, and Tupac Shakur, then brace yourself! Kay L.A. delivers hard-hitting bass, classic flows, and soothing melodies layered with impactful lyricism designed to resonate long after the music ends.

katrina sotera is a Filipinx & Costa Rican-American alternative R&B singer-songwriter from Queens, NY. With a unique blend of heart-wrenching lyricism and flowy melodies, katrina’s music is as much for the baddies as it is for the revolutionaries.

JAE.CI
JAE.CI is a classically trained, cross genre vocalist and alternative songwriter. Born in Seoul, adopted to the US, and currently based in Brooklyn Jae explores the spaces between binaries through voice and identity.

Angie Williams
Big woman! Big personality! Big love for Baltimore! Angie is a hoot and holler on and off the stage. You can find her on a stage at a local theater, on TikTok highlighting the beauty in the everyday life of a city girl, near the touch tunes at a dive bar, flirting with anyone who plays bass or drums, or curating events where people come together and leave a little more connected than they arrived.
