Tarwa N-Tiniri
Tarwa N-Tiniri, a Moroccan band formed in 2012, weaves a vibrant tapestry of Amazigh (Berber) culture and nomadic life through their music. Comprising five self-taught musicians from Ouarzazate, they blend traditional Amazigh melodies with blues, jazz, reggae, rock, and Gnaoua rhythms. The name "Tarwa" signifies "generation" in Amazigh, while "N-Tiniri" pays homage to the desert that shaped their lives. Their music delves into Amazigh cultural richness, nomadic experiences, love, and the universal quest for peace.
The band, global sensations, recently recorded their highly anticipated second album. Tarwa N-Tiniri is not just an auditory experience but a bridge connecting hearts and minds worldwide, fostering appreciation for Amazigh culture and the nomadic way of life. The five gifted musicians, led by Hamid Ait Ahmed, invite you on a journey where the desert meets the world, and generations unite in harmony.
They are more than a band; they are the storytellers of the desert, crafting tales of resilience, love, and the enduring spirit of the Amazigh people. Tarwa N-Tiniri: where music and culture converge for an unforgettable journey.

MOWDER OYAL
[LISTEN]

Mowder Oyal (phonetic Baldamore-ese for “motor oil”) is a collective of musicians and multidisciplinary artists that make hardcore punk and free jazz at the same time.
With musician and arts lawyer Adam Holofcener on guitar, Bashi Rose (Konjur Collective) on percussion and vocals, James Young (Mind on Fire) on bassoon, and performance artist Sun Lynn Hunter on vocals, Mowder Oyal is a sonic supergroup that defies easy categorization.

Mowder Oyal’s work fits squarely in the lineage of creative music and weird jazz coming out of Charm City since Gary Bartz and Carl Grubbs. -Bandcamp
Frequent collaborators include multi-reedist Jamal Moore. Past members include founding vocalist SHAN Wallace (AKA Lor Ugly Yo) and phenom MC Eze Jackson.

Kutay Sezginel
[LISTEN]
Kutay's music explores the intertwined nature of tradition and innovation. Rooted in the rich heritage of Anatolian folk music and inspired by psychedelic rock, dark ambient and krautrock, he creates cosmic soundscapes layered with microtonal cultural motifs and odd time signatures. With neo-ethnic instruments like the çağlama and the electric cümbüş as his narrators, he creates stories of imaginative realms with memories of the past. His work is always evolving and reshaping itself through the spontaneity and energy of live performances.
