The Arun Ramamurthy Trio

[LISTEN]

The Arun Ramamurthy Trio creates a groundbreaking fusion of South Indian Carnatic traditions and contemporary jazz, weaving masterful improvisations through ancient ragas and modern rhythms. Led by violinist Arun Ramamurthy alongside drummer Sameer Gupta and bassist Damon Banks, the trio explores themes of migration and ancestral wisdom through original compositions.

DLI

[LISTEN]

Modern psychedelia from Baltimore musicians Dominique Diglio (Perpetual Doom), Lucy Sands (Velvet Zombie, Machete Clan), and Ino Aksentiev (Grudge, Beach People).

Underworld Orchard

[LISTEN]

Beguiling folk on the edges of oblivion from Baltimore's Hannah Olivegren (Zomes), Steven Strohmeier (Arbouretum, Beach House) and experimental music stalwart Liz Downing.

We like the dark side of folk music, the weird and wonderful sounds that conjure up spirits from the shadows of the heart and mind... [Underworld Orchard] weave a magical, hypnotic sound, a serenade for a drunken slow-motion waltz. It’s delicate and devilish and quite mesmerising. [Post To Wire]

Underworld Orchard is an amazing example of how unfathomable music is when we really listen [Lost In a Sea of Sound]
