IN PLAIN SIGHT(site) is the immersive performance series we’ve been doing during the pandemic. Each iteration, a cycle of artists present new work exploring the concept of PORTALS. Audiences navigate the performances as they rise and fall across the space. In part five of IN PLAIN SIGHT(site), a new cycle of artists continue this exploration of portals and doorways to other realities on Saturday, February 7th, at 8PM.

Meet Katie
Katie Vaught trained at Vostrikov’s Academy of Ballet; Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet; and Shenandoah University. She currently resides in Baltimore, Maryland, and is the Artistic Director of Vaught Contemporary Ballet. Her work has been shown at Baltimore Theatre Project; Joe’s Movement Emporium; Dance Place; and The Chrysalis. Vaught previously performed with Mich-Mash Productions and Deviated Theatre and has worked as a dance instructor in the DMV for over ten years. She received the Marc Ryder Choreography Grant in 2016 and is debuting Memento Mori at Baltimore Theatre Project this spring.
