About The Event

Our third installment of IT CAME FROM THE CLOSET!: OMEN presents...CANDYMAN (1992), paired with Sumiko Saulson's essay, Centered and Seen. Join us for drinks and a film screening with short intro. After, we'll continue to hang out and have an informal post-show discussion. This event and all future events could be free to you! How? ABOUT THE SERIES, IT CAME FROM THE CLOSET

Hosted by OMEN and inspired by the collection of essays, It Came From the Closet: Queer Reflections on Horror , the series focuses on horror movies through a queer lens. From October until March 2024, we'll be screening and discussing a new film and companion essay on the 13th of every month. More about the series here.
